Bro. John Perise, OSFS – Oblate Community at Salesianum – friendship was alive!

Watching people grow in faith; building community.

What do you find most inspiring about our Catholic social teaching?
Reach out to help the poor and marginalized.

What captures your heart or imagination about the life of Jesus?
Open and honest with everyone; what was time in the desert like?

How do you feel the Holy Spirit moving in the Church today?
Opening new ministries for the laity; married clergy.

What is your favorite Bible story or passage?
Jonah – didn’t think he could do what God wanted, but did it and it was successful.

A voice to sing.
