Business Network Breakfast: “Christ in Kensington” Coverage

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Business Network Breakfast on Friday, April 24. We were delighted to welcome such a strong turnout at the Union League Torresdale in Philadelphia, PA.

We were also grateful for the presence and support of Oblates Fr. Joe Campellone and Fr. Jack Kolodziej, who helped host the event, and Fr. Jim MacNew, who began the Breakfast by leading with a reflective prayer. Special thanks to Mr. Rich DeLeo for serving as our moderator.

Our inspiring speakers, Fr. Mike McCue, OSFS, Director of DeSales Service Works, and Kim Andrulli, Director of the Blessed Sarnelli Community in Kensington, reminded us that we encounter Christ in those we serve. Kim Andruilli and Fr. Mike McCue minister every day in Kensington, a neighborhood familiar to many Oblate friends.  Through their work at Blessed Sarinelli House and The Last Stop, they encounter the people behind the news stories. During their talks, they shared their experiences working and living in Kensington, and how Francis’ virtues impact their work.

A special highlight of the morning was the presence of family members of Fr. William Guerin, OSFS. As the founder of the Business Network, Fr. Guerin would surely be proud to see how it continues to grow and thrive.
