150th Celebration in Annecy, France

On Sunday, July 20th, Oblates attending the Major Superiors Meeting in Annecy, France celebrated the 150th anniversary of our congregation with the Bishop of Annecy, Msgr. Yves LeSaux, our brother Oblates serving in Annecy, our Visitandine Sisters, and a packed church at the Basilica of the Visitation. It was a blessing to be with so many members of our Salesian family and to celebrate our vocation as Oblates. The Mass was celebratedin French and a superior from every region read a petition in his region’s language. It was a beautiful celebration of our international congregation’s founding.
