On Saturday, September 26, 2026, Deacon Matthew Trovato, OSFS, was ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Michael Fitzgerald of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at Our Mother of Consolation (OMC) Parish in Philadelphia, PA. Oblates, family, and friends gathered to witness this joyful milestone in Matthew’s journey toward priesthood.

Matthew will serve his diaconal internship at OMC until his priestly ordination in the spring. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues his journey toward the priesthood!
