Fr. Jim Greenfield, OSFS, Receives 2026 Community Partner Award

Fr. Jim Greenfield, OSFS ’84, President of DeSales University, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Community Partner Award by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes a respected community leader known for integrity and for being a premier supporter of the Chamber, its mission, and the vitality of the region it serves.

The Community Partner Award honors individuals whose long-standing involvement has made a meaningful impact across the Lehigh Valley. Fr. Jim’s selection reflects his commitment to collaboration with nonprofits and service organizations, as well as his leadership in fostering a culture of generosity, service, and civic engagement at DeSales University.

Fr. Jim’s approach to leadership is rooted in Salesian tradition and emphasizes presence, compassion, and practical service. These values have translated into tangible support for community initiatives and an inclusive vision that brings together educators, business leaders, and nonprofit partners for the common good.

Fr. Jim will be honored at the Lehigh Valley Economic Outlook and Community Awards Program on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
