Fr. John Fisher, OSFS, pastor of Our Mother of Consolation, will be speaking on day two of the Catholic Preaching Institute's ecumenical sermon series during the celebration of the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity!

The series takes place on January 20-22, each at 7:00 PM, in the neighborhood of Chestnut Hill, PA – historically known as “Philadelphia’s Garden District.” The goal is draw people of faith together with inspiration for Christian discipleship that will radiate in and beyond the neighborhood.

In the course of three evening prayer services, a clergy member from one Christian denomination will preach in a neighboring church of another denomination. The focus of the sermon series will be the biblical text chosen for the Week of Prayer and/or a topic of contemporary social concern to the local congregations.
