Heritage of Hope
During this Jubilee Year of Hope, the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales celebrate the 150th anniversary of our foundation. In spite of their challenges, our patrons and founders chose to cling to hope knowing that God would take care of us every step of the way instead of turning to despair. Through their inspiration, we continue to live out our heritage of hope.
This past summer, Deacon Jonathan Dick, OSFS, traveled across the country speaking with his Oblate brothers, asking them where they have found hope. What does hope look like in their lives? And how have the Oblates served as bastions of hope in the world?
He discovered some truly inspiring answers!
A huge thank you to Deacon Jonathan Dick, OSFS, and all our Oblate brothers who participated in the making of this video!
