Pope Leo XIV Writes to the Oblates on 150th Anniversary

His Holiness Pope Leo XIV sent heartfelt greetings to all the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the congregational founding on December 21. With this milestone, the Pope invites gratitude for the past, discernment in the present, and renewed confidence in the future.

In his letter, Pope Leo XIV encourages the Oblates to remain rooted in hope and to embrace renewal with trust, recalling his words from Dilexi Te: "A Church that sets no limits to love, that knows no enemies to fight but only men and women to love, is the Church that the world needs today." He imparted his Apostolic Blessing to all members of the Congregation, praying that the Oblates’ work, community life, and ministry continue to flourish.
